With more than forty years’ experience of business start-ups, business acquisitions and business management our founder and group chairman owns and directs 786 Group Limited, an international business company with subsidiaries involved in engineering, engineering consultancy, power generation, financial services, sports promotion, sports management, commercial and residential property.

Global Project Director (Engineering)
With more than thirty years’ experience in Executive Management and Business Development Mark has a wealth of experience in the successful completion of projects within the Mining, Power Generation and Hydrocarbons sectors.
A professional engineer with an outstanding track record in engineering and successful project execution including lead business interventions as consultant (PWC, Deloitte, KPMG, Boston Consulting, McKinsey) and Project Consulting on numerous projects, PMO Manager for Siyanda Platinum Mine (Anglo American Union Mine) for the deepening of the incline shaft and re-establishing a 50tpm fully functional mine.
Developer of numerous proprietary waste to energy solutions and other renewable energy projects.
Ryder Nash
Production Director (Engineering)
With more than 50 years’ experience as professional engineer and extensive experience in the Waste to Energy field, all aspects of the thermal valorisation and solar power industries Ryder has an extensive knowledge of design, manufacture and installation of waste to energy (WTE) plants. Ryder previously held executive and non-executive directorships in a range of engineering businesses associated with power generation and is skilled in working within the parameters of a tight budget.
Sydney Zeederberg
Engineering and Project Delivery Manager
With more than 40 years’ experience Sydney has developed processes to convert pyrolysis products from various waste sources (waste and biomass) into ultra-low sulphur diesel and other liquid fuel products. Sydney conceptualised, led and commissioned a 300MW gas turbine combined cycle project and led numerous feasibility studies to improve the carbon footprint of multiple power plants.

Operations and Commissioning Director (Engineering)
With more than 40 years’ experience as a professional engineer with extensive experience in various coal fired, biomass (with vibrating grid), gas, oil, fluidised bed power plants, combined cycle gasification. operations, maintenance and commissioning, Ernst delivers high-quality results as a commissioning professional with strong focus on overseeing and coordinating project commissioning activities, ensuring all systems and components are installed and functioning according to specifications. Adept at managing teams, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. Skilled in compliance, safety standards, quality assurance and the development and implementation of formal procedures for maintenance, environmental and safety management programs.
